Exhale.

Thank you, for the support, the outrage, the emails, the phone calls, the comments.

I cannot say much but I can say that in two weeks we will be on an airplane (a big one!) flying halfway around the world and then we will get to see our babies in person. That much is still the same.

Two weeks!

And nothing is certain in the world of international adoption. I think we may be ok. I think we may have dodged a bullet. I wish I could be more certain with you here but alas I can't.

But I'm exhaling.

And in two weeks I will get to hold the babies. Feel their skin, their warmth, their breath, hold their tiny hands, peek at their tiny feet. It may only be for a few hours but it will be the most precious hours of  my life.

Ahhhh, another two week wait.

    wow, what a wild ride. You are so strong and amazing. I am so glad that your visit is still on, I was so worried that may have changed as well.

    I'm so excited for you, I just can't wait! Hurry up two weeks! There's just nothing like seeing them in person for the first time and falling in love, over and over and over. Praying you get lots and lots of time with them to memorize and imprint every little aspect into your memory and heart (and vice versa!). How are you going to sleep these next two weeks? SOOO EXCITING!

    Oh, I am so happy you finally get to hold your babies! I am happy for your babies that they finally get to meet you! I will send all my hope into the universe that the wait for them to come home is as short as possible!

    TWO WEEKS! It's so soon. I'm so glad for you.

    It's so hard to know how this rule will shake down. It might be really bad news for the people behind you. But I think you're going to squeak through before it makes any significant differences. I'm happy for you, but I'm still so sad for the other people who are waiting for court.

    Wow, just like infertility, this too has been full of highs and lows. I hope you are right and that your babies come home much sooner than anticipated. Can't wait to hear about your trip!

    I hope your time with them is precious and that you aren't stuck in this quagmire long. I can't imagine how difficult it would be to let your babies go after waiting for them for so long. My heart goes out to you. Give them lots of kisses and take many pictures.

    This is such a magical time. I am thinking of you and praying that everything goes smoothly.
    I am hoping that because your adoption was already in process that it will continue to go through all the necessary chanels in a timely fashion!!!!!

    This is great news indeed! My good friend just came back from her 1st court date in Ethiopia. When she got back she shared with me for two hours the whole story. Its an incredible story! So excited for you...

    Two weeks!!!!!
    Remember when life was cut up into chunks of two-week intervals? Blech.

    Please please please take lots of pictures of toes and fingers and ears and lips and all their perfect little parts. Not to share, just to have....

    My heart is full for you to be able to hold them and know them, and for them to know you. The rest will have to just work itself out... it has to.
